Demak EVOZ 126R

Demak refuse to be left behind...........

So, they come up with a brand new model called Evo Z 125R. It's in a kapcai form. So, this model will be competing with the Yamaha 135LC, Suzuki Shogun Axelo 125 and Honda Future 125.

Design is refreshing. As good as any other brand. But performance, we have to wait and see.

From my observation during the visit to one of it vendor, the engine comes with an oil cooled system. This make it comparable with the Suzuki Belang's specification. The only thing, it is a 125 while Belang is a 150s.

And it is has an upright piston position too, just like the 135LC and the Belang 150.
Ehmmm... it will be interesting to see how will the public reaction to this new model, especially when the price is at around the 6k range, OTR.

Nice Kapcai

New model is a must to all manufacturers. If they do not produce new model, their share of the market will be snatched by other manufacturers.

The big brothers, Honda, Yamaha and Suzuki, all have come up with their killer model. Successful or not, we will have to wait and see….

The Modenas team has also released their latest kapcai. While the challenging Demak and Nimota can not be taken lightly.

Honda is making a good move by introducing a fuel injection Dream EX5 Fi. Engine is still using the 110cc but since it is being tune electronically using a Fi system, it may be producing a fairly good power output.

Suzuki is introducing a new scooter, the Address 115. I am expecting them to produce a 150cc long range but instead they came up with a town model with just 115cc engine capacity.

Yamaha is also introducing its new model, the Y15ZR or more familiar with a name 150LC. Surprisingly, 150LC is not as hot as the earlier 135LC. After almost a month, only a few was seen on the road. What has went wrong?

At the same time, Demak is attacking the market. Rumor says, Demak is now using an older version engine supplied by Honda. If so, it could be a high quality with a very reasonably priced kapcai for everyone especially for those whom are commuting using a kapcai to work. They even over-sized the engine block to house a 120cc piston.

The local hero, Modenas, has no intention to be left behind. They are now selling their most recent model named CT115. Even though still using a carburetor, a maximum power of 6.6kW is rather interesting.

And, never forget, there are more manufacturer out there now. The Nimota, Benneli and other European names are also competing.

Us….. what do we get? Of course, we could now have more option to choose from……. Yesssss……
